You could take a boat trip to a remote
island all to yourself, or have a sunset cruise along the coast.

Taveuni Island is known as Fiji's Garden
isle for the lush vegetation. It is truly stunning with more
treks and culturally interesting excursions than any other island.
In addition to diving there is lots of
adventure to be found on Taveuni Island. Natural waterslides,
exciting hikes, kayaking trips to small, uninhabited islands,
horseback riding and village trips - Taveuni has it all.
Taveuni is the true Fiji - uncommercialised, unspoilt, uncomplicated
and unsurpassed. Here you will experience genuine Fijian hospitality.

The spectacular
Bouma Waterfalls are among the attractions on the island
of Taveuni - take a day trip to these 3 amazing falls and
swim in the cool, clear waters beneath. We would especially
recommend this trip on a weekend when the local children
will be playing in the waters and jumping off the ledge
underneath the falls - it's fun too watch or even better
join in!

|
Another recommended day trip is the Lavena
coastal walk - take in the breathtaking beauty on this 4 hour
hike (2 hours each way). There is a refreshing waterfall to swim
in when you reach halfway. Taveuni is also a great island for
bird watching. Inhabitants include the orange dove, wild parrots,
kingfishers and many more. Soqulu Plantation (where Taveuni Dive
is situated) is highly recommended for bird watchers.

A few minutes away from the
dive center is the international date line - where you have
have one foot in today and one in yesterday. |
Or
.. you can always just lie back on the beach and relax!
